The Flathead Marines would like to cordially invite the community to join our celebration of the Marine Corps, it’s history and traditions. Come celebrate the birthday of the most loyal, feared, revered, and professional fighting force the world has ever known.

Happy Hour @ 4pm, seating for the ceremony begins @ 5pm Dinner, Dancing, Auctions and Raffles to follow. All proceeds go to support veterans in the Flathead Valley.

Lieutenant Colonel Anthonol L. Neely United States Marine Corps (Ret)

  • Lieutenant Colonel Anthonol L. Neely was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps in 1996 after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely reported to 2d Battalion, 1st Marines in 1997 and served as a Rifle Platoon Commander in support of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (MEU) Western Pacific 99-1.

    Lieutenant Colonel was assigned to the 1st Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Company in Norfolk, Virginia in January of 2000.  He deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, participating in security missions supporting the Commander of the Navy’s Seventh Fleet as the Assistant Platoon Commander for 1st Platoon.  He was assigned as 2nd Platoon Commander, joining his new platoon as it was executing a security mission in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in April of 2001.  The following September, Lieutenant Colonel Neely deployed to Naples, Italy and supported security missions for the Commander of the Navy’s Sixth Fleet and Commander in Chief United States Naval Forces Europe.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely completed Expeditionary Warfare School in May of 2003 and was assigned to 3d Battalion, 4th Marines as the Assistant Operations Officer.  He assumed command of Company L in December of that year.  Lieutenant Colonel Neely deployed to Iraq from March to July of 2004 and participated in combat operations in Al Anbar province to include Operation VIGILANT RESPONSE.  He deployed again for a second time to Fallujah, Iraq as the Company Commander for Company L from January to July of 2005.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely was reassigned to the Tactical Training Exercise Control Group’s Urban Warfare Training Cadre at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twenty-nine Palms, CA following his tour at 3d Battalion, 4th Marines in August of 2005.  He served as a Team Chief/Military Operations in Urban Terrain Instructor and as the primary instructor for Company Command Operations Center operations.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely was assigned to his first staff tour with the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration in July of 2006.  He served as an analyst in the Capabilities Based Assessment Brand and as the Current Operations Officer of the Capabilities Processing Branch within the Capabilities Development Directorate’s MAGTF Integration Division.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely returned to the operating forces to serve as the Assistant Operations Officer of the 13th MEU Command Element in August of 2009.  In October of 2010 he was assigned as the Executive Officer of Marine Combat Training Battalion, School of Infantry West.  In May of 2011 Lieutenant Colonel Neely was re-assigned as Commander for the 11th MEU’S Maritime Raid Force and deployed in support of Western Pacific 11-2 until assuming duty as the MEU Operations Officer in June of 2012.  Lieutenant Colonel Neely served as the Executive Officer of the 11th MEU in September of 2012 to June of 2013.

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely served another staff tour at the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration as the Small Wars Branch Head, Small Walls Center / Irregular Warfare Integration from July of 2013 to August of 2015.  He transitioned to Deputy Commandant for Manpower & Reserve Affairs serving as the Future Ops Officer, Manpower Management Integration Branch form September 2015 to June 2016.  He served as the Deputy Information Operations Officer (G39) from June to December 2016 until he was hand-selected as the Officer in Charge of the ROTO-6 Georgian Liaison Team in support of NATO Resolute Support Mission, Afghanistan.

     

    Lieutenant Colonel Neely’s final tour of duty prior to retirement from the Marine Corps was as the Branch Head for Advisor Training and First Expeditionary Operations Training Group (I EOTG) FROM June 2018 to June 2019.

    After retirement from the United States Marine Corps as a decorated combat veteran, Anthonol now leverages 20+ years of organizational leadership experience within high-threat/high-stress environments to lead and grow his company, Fidelis Integrated Solutions, Inc., into a world-class global professional services organization.  FIS provides customized consulting, training and mission support services to military, law enforcement and other government/private entities.  Anthonol’s influence has enabled FIS to shape organizational outcomes supporting contracts with the United States Marine Corps, law enforcement organizations, and strategic planning services to industry.

    Anthonol is a father of two teens.  He also serves as a worship leader at his local church.
